Michel Rompelberg
Michel graduated from Maastricht University in 1993 and followed this with six months at the University of Lancaster in the UK. He has been an advocate since 1995. He was also a member of the Municipal Council of Margraten and the Provincial Council of Limburg. At the Grotius Academy he completed the specialist course in insolvency law and at Rotterdam’s Erasmus University he took the training in financial economics for bankruptcy trustees.
He is a member of Insolad, the Association of Dutch Insolvency Specialists. Since 2008 he has been treasurer of the Bar Association in the District of Maastricht, and since 2013, after the merger, in the District of Limburg.
